For decades, she has been nurturing, teaching, supporting, protecting, and empowering others. Leading this organization isn’t just work for her; it’s her calling and purpose. A pillar of her Atlanta community, Tamisha earned the playful yet fitting nickname "Captain Save-a-Hoe" (known for leaping over tall drag queens in a single bound!). While the title brings a smile, it reflects the truth of her character: Tamisha has always fought for the underdog. Growing up, she witnessed people being disrespected or mistreated simply for being different. She made a promise to herself that, as long as she had a voice and a platform, she would ensure no one under her watch would endure such treatment. Tamisha Iman continues to stand as a force of love, strength, and empowerment for all.
